https://www.funtracker.site/map.html is good for finding the location of a group of friends or other people nearby your present location, that are having fun in a manner that you would like to participate in, at this moment in time. Example, if you want to go ride a bike, it's always more fun to do it with another person or even a group of people. Funtracker.site allows you to see anyone within 15000 meters from you (by default) that happens to already be on a bike ride, indicated by the bike icon ( active moving is red) that you will see in motion on the Map, that want others to join them. From the funtracker.site Map, icons and tracks displayed, you can figure out how to ride a path to catch the group of bikers to join them without ever contacting that group directly. But this works for more than just bike rides. We now have activity icons that indicate over 40 different activities that people might like to do as a pair or group. Example activities include games of chess, pool billiards, pingpong, tennis, basketball, soccer. And other activities like playing music, beer parties, motor bike rides, boat trips, wind surfing, kite surfing, hang gliding … and the list goes on. Anything that is more fun with more than one person should be a good addition to funtracker.site. And as far as I know almost everything I can think of is more fun with more people doing it with you. It's also a good way to make new friends with people that are not so far away. If you don't know what to do to have fun maybe you can look on the funtracker.site map to find out what other people near by are doing to decide what it is you might like best. Later we should find Funtracker as a method to just see were your group of friends are just hanging out at the moment. Or just to see if your friend is off work yet so you can ask them out to play. Funtracker.site is also meant to be simple with no need to have to sign up or login. Just click the blue line link from any method that someone shares it with you, over email, skype, Line…, or share the site with others directly with the funtracker.site Qr-code between your android phones (see https://www.funtracker.site/wiki/doku.php?id=tricktraker.com:users_manual#qrcode_to_share_funtrackersite_with_others ) or worst case type the website manually into your phones browser. After you click the funtracker.site Map link you are then seen by the world, and you too can now see what is happening in the local world around you, that simple. With some of the added features of http://FunTracker.site including the Camera Page https://www.funtracker.site/shoot/index.html you can also share a local event with the group in a graphic manner of what you all have been up to at your present location to attract more to come. And if you want to get more personal you can also chat direct in real-time https://www.funtracker.site/chat.html in text or video conference with the group or person to person to get more details of an event if needed. Funtracker.site also works on time as only events that have been updated within the last 2 hours (by default) are displayed on the Map. Since events are time based we should expect them to come and go. So consider Funtracker.site to be a dynamic living Map that displays the world around you, and what is happening in it in real-time. See http://Funtracker.site for more details.

The differences between G+ (Google+) app for Location and http://funtracker.site. I personally like G+ and I tried to get all of my friends into using G+ location feature that allows you to track a group of your friends to see where they all are on a map, very much like how it looks now on the funtracker.site. The problem I had with G+ was I couldn't get many of my friends even if they were already members of google mail to join G+ and set it all up for Location sharing. The complexity of setting up friend circles to allow certain people to see you and other not was beyond what most of my friends were willing to put up with. You also have to send a share notice to people in your group that want to share you in there circles since even if you manage to get G+ to allow your friends to see you, they also have to go through the same trouble for you to be allowed to see them for every person that asks them. I have a friend Michael that tries to setup his girls phone to allow him to see her, but can't get it to work even with both phones in his hands at the same time. On top of the circles complexity you also have to install the G+ app on all the phones in your group of friends, before this will ever start to work. Even after you have the G+ app installed you also have to become a member of google G+ and setup google mail account to attach to the G+ account with. for that you also have to remember your username and password for your google account if you plan to use this on any other phone or your Desktop computer. Also G+ doesn't look or work at all the same on a desktop computer as compared to a phone. Even I can't figure out the way to see my group of G+ friends on a desktop or laptop computer in a browser (not that it can't be done), and I'm a computer geek. Also I saw on Google that they do have a way that you can see your tracks you generated over time to not only see were you are now but were you have been in the past. I tried to find a way to share these tracks with other friends in G+ to show my bike path and trips, and find that this is not possible without providing everyone of my friends with my username and password for my google email account and have each of them log into it, just to be able to see my path and no one elses path.
Ok so now to the point what is the difference between funtrack.site then? On https://www.funtracker.site/map.html you just go to the map page on your phones browser or your PC browser and you then see everyone and they can also see you, that simple. No need to install any app like G+, no need to create a email or account like gmail to get started. No need to setup friend circles to allow people to see you and you to see them. they are just there. Oh and on G+ you might see your friends icon on the screen but fail to note that he has been offline for 24 hours and that Icon marker is no longer his valid location. On funtracker.site if someone isn't updating there location for more than 2 hours (by default) they won't even be seen on the map. and even before that if you see there track line getting shorter, you will already know they are no longer online. On funtracker.site we have it setup in reversed compared to G+, by default you see everyone. On Funtracker.site if you see too many people or events on your map you don't want to see, you have the option to filter them out. There are many filters in the advanced section of funtracker.site that involve peoples ID, activity type, distance and time that allows you to put focus on a single person you know, to see where he/she is and where he as been over a desired window of time. or a group type that is involved in something you like to do like hike or bike , play chess…. or you can just focus on events and or people within 500 meters or any distance you desire from your present location. But you can leave these features for the geeks to play with or maybe you will find time to play with all these filters some time in the future. Also on funtracker.site from the start without any added software installed, you are only broadcasting your location when you are on the Map page of funtracker.site. If you want everyone to see you all the time you have to add a supported app called Traccar https://www.funtracker.site/wiki/doku.php?id=tricktraker.com:users_manual#traccar_tracking_software_support that posts your location to funtracker.site all the time. On G+ from the start, you have to manually go and turn off location sharing when you don't want the people you are sharing with to know where you are and then later remember to turn it back on again when you want to share location. So in conclusion, if you really don't want to share your location with everyone in the world with just one click, then maybe G+ is what you want, but then you will have to install the G+ app, do all that complex join membership and setup trust circle stuff just to start, and remember to turn tracking off and on again when you want to be at a private location. So the choice is yours.
The funtracker.site also has an API interface that allows programmers or others to filter and capture raw GPS coordinate data streams of personal or other GPS events recorded on the funtracker.site database, to be formated in some custom manner or used to trigger events or just use your imagination. The details of the API interface are documented at: https://github.com/sacarlson/Trick_Tracker . for tracking data for remote objects, toy rockets, tracked weather balloons, cars, trucks, boats, planes, people….
