Funtracker.site upgraded local Thailand Internet services to 30Mb/10Mb
Funtracker.site has added a new Internet VDSL line for our local Thailand servers. Our new service through 3BB Broadband is 30Mb/sec down and 10Mb/sec upload speeds about 10 times faster than our last provider True. We also still have our original True service Internet provider 15Mb/1Mb that we now use as a backup in the event of failure of 3BB. This service feeds our direct from staff to users and transaction processing services and also some of our real-time data feed records of asset trade history of offer and bid prices that we provide.
So far we are very happy with our new service from 3BB Broadband that seems to have very fast response on ticket issues and install times as well as the fastest Internet feeds presently available in our aria.
We had hoped for fiber optic services or 50Mb/30Mb or better but at present there are no ISP service providers in our aria here in Pattaya Thailand that provide it yet. When it does become available we will upgrade again. For now I think the 30/10 will do.
The one year contract to upgrade was signed on 2017/9/2 at a cost of 6970 baht, upgrade was installed into our PBC office on 2017/9/7. Testing of the line and integration into service was completed 2017/9/14.
